Opportunity knocks on your door every day. If you take too long to answer the door, Opportunity, like any visitor, will move on to a more hospitable host.
Everything in life has a natural rhythm—from the timing of good comedy to the sleep cycles of a healthy body. This rhythm is everywhere and in everything. When you’re relaxed, engaged and in step with it, you find yourself living in what I call “flow.” Your life becomes a fluid journey to wholeness grounded in who you are being, not what you are doing. Every breath, thought, word, and act—your very presence—fosters a generous, effortless, gracious life of flow filled with faith, hope, prosperity, peace, and joy.
When you are aligned with the natural rhythm of life, you know you have everything to manifest the life you dream of. Your prosperity is firmly grounded in trusting your energy, creativity and discernment regarding what to do, why, when, how, how much, with and for whom. Procrastination pulls you out of alignment with the natural rhythm of life and perfectionism is the single greatest cause. Perfectionism is all about fueling yourself with the toxic cocktail of FEAR. Fear throws you off-balance and out of rhythm. Fear keeps warning that you aren’t smart enough, fast enough or rich enough—YOU JUST ARE NOT ENOUGH. Like a deer in the headlights, you freeze and wait to get run down.
The next time you find yourself procrastinating, stop, take one deep breath, relax your body and say the word “YES” aloud. Breathe again, relax, say “YES.” Repeat this until you become fully present and calm.
Then try repeating these affirmations until you feel yourself starting to believe them with every fiber of your being—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
- I do not rush. I am enough. I discern, focus and follow through. The Universe works wonders through me.
- My Source is excellent, limitless and reliable. No external force can block my highest good. Universal abundance flows to and through me.
From this centered, empowered mindset, discern your next step—just one baby step—focus and follow through. Express gratitude, celebrate and repeat. By repeating this simple three-step process every moment of every day, you will baby step your way to greatness with perfect timing, rhythm and grace.
What fear might you release TODAY to help you take the next baby step toward the life you dream of living?
