It’s tempting to think that something is “good” or “bad.” Those qualities are just decisions based on where we choose to focus our energy. Losing a job could be “bad” or it could be the best thing that ever happened to you because you finally get to start your own business. A divorce could be “bad” or it could be the best way for both parties to get a fresh start.
Whether conscious or not, how and where we focus our attention is how and where we focus our energy. If you spend your time thinking about how hard or bad something is, guess what? It will be. On the other hand, if you focus on the belief that what feels uncomfortable is actually a great opportunity, you’ll begin to see opportunity everywhere.
